Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the problems of management of talented employees’ engagement in the East European countries such as Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Ukraine. The aim of the article is to present a comparative analysis of existing variables of talents engagement in these countries of Eastern Europe. The research methodology is based on the fundamental works of researchers on the involvement of employees, talent management and statistical reports of the Global Talent Competitiveness Index (GTCI). The main problem for the analyzed countries of Eastern Europe, however, remains the problem of „brain drain”. The most competitive country in terms of attracting, developing and keeping talented employees among the analyzed countries of Eastern Europe is the Czech Republic.
