Summary/Abstract: This article proposes a modification of the basic elements in the management of investment projects, which aims to minimize the risks of the project in the contemporary Bulgarian economy. It covers the basic functions, participants and stages in the investment process, their significance and importance and the need to be implemented fully and completely.
