Summary/Abstract: The article is focused on two issues. First, on the problem of the person and his cultural creativity which is his way to his actualization and grows out of the deepest needs of the human being. Second, on rules which should guide human culture-making activity and reasons which make religion the focus of culture. While culture appears as the foundation of personal and national identity, then any attempt to build multicultural societies seems to be a utopia whose fate is easily predictable and whose harmfulness and risk can be easily identified: undermining the sovereignty of persons and nations.
