Liberty, equality, fraternity? Games and post-humanism

Summary/Abstract: Modern video games display posthumanist contexts on a great many levels. The article is an attempt to map these contexts, ranging from games’ storylines, posthumanist aspects of artificial intelligence in games’ scripts and their transhumanist interfaces, to the formation in video games of entirely new and original social relations between players and characters.
