Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with Islamic financial system and in particular with some of its financial principles. These principles are more or less known, but we trying in this paper to analyse and characterise the recent development in this new financial system for many European countries. Islamic finance is one of the most rapidly growing segments of the global financial system. However, despite the increasing importance of Islamic finance, particularly in developing economics in the Middle East and South-East Asia, religious and social complexity has acted against a fuller understanding by regulators, policymakers, researchers and practitioners.
