Semantic-Syntactic Description of Preposition-Noun Phrases with the Words w głębi (inside) and w obrębie (in the Area)

Summary/Abstract: The paper presents a semantic-syntactic description of the prepositionnoun phrases with the words w głębi and w obrębie. The article is using the interpretative semantics model. Semantic component is a generative one in this model. The article presents a semantic description of the complex prepositions w głębi and w obrębie. The author raises the question about their selection restrictions and lexical meanings. He also answers the question what predicates the phrases are: one or two-argument. He proves the expressions are separate lexical units.
