Instruments of export support in selected countries

Summary/Abstract: The article provides an overview of institutions, policies and tools of export promotion used in the leading export-oriented countries of Western Europe as well as in Canada and the United States. All analysed countries are actively supporting their entrepreneurs in developing exports and in strengthening their presence on the world market. These efforts were intensified in particular in the face of the economic crisis, proving that participation in international exchange of goods and services is crucial to maintain growth and job creation.
