Summary/Abstract: The sequence of the Sundays in the Movable Church Year reflected in the Lectionary of Constantine of Preslav according to the hitherto discovered four copies: one Russian of the 12th–13th centuries and three Serbian of the 13th and 14th centuries is discussed in the article. Attention is focused on the period from Pentecost to the beginning of the Long Lent. The four copies contain information that in the original text of the Lectionary this period was divided into two cycles of 17 Sundays with readings from Matthew and 17 Sundays with readings from Luke. There is an untypical arrangement of the order of the preparatory Sundays for the Long Lent in the Lectionary. The Sunday of the Tax Collector and the Pharisee with reading from Luke 18:10–14 is followed not by the Sunday of the Produgal Son but by the Sunday with the Parable about the Pounds with Reading Luke 19:12–26.
