Female’s inmates opinion about theatre activity running in penitentiary institution

Summary/Abstract: This article presents practical application of creative art therapy in female prison. It describes theatre as a kind of artistic activity running in prison. This paper provides data from scientific research which was carried out in April on I All-PolThis article presents practical application of creative art therapy in female prison. It describes theatre as a kind of artistic activity running in prison. This paper provides data from scientific research which was carried out in April on I All-Polish Prison’s Theatre Contest. This results concern female inmates. The aim of this paper is to show motives which induce women to taking part in theatre activities and influence this activities on relation between inmates and prison’s staff, their families or other inmates. Also it show influence of theatre on self-assesment, self-esteem and reflection about past and their future life.
