Summary/Abstract: Pharmacological experiments and using animals for research is controversial and creates an ethical dilemma. Therefore, while making a decision of conducting an experiment or using animals for testing, all advantages and disadvantages of them should be carefully considered. It is strongly advisable to pay more attention to the issue of testing new medicine on people and using animals for research as well as point out the lack of legal regulations in these aspects to Polish legislators.
