Summary/Abstract: Si Roland Barthes a salué, dans le haïku, le modèle paradigmatique de l’écriture comme « pli sensuel », esthétique de l’effacement, la création littéraire est aussi ce qui est retravaillé par le silence, le caché, le réel retenu par « la lumière de dessous les mots » (Michel Lambert). Le paradoxe de la littérature tiendrait à cette puissance évocatrice d’une rétention riche de ce qui n’est pas écrit, et de la porosité de tout ce qui se donne à travers la membrane embryonnaire qui signe le déploiement du pli. If Roland Barthes could advocate, in the the haïku, the paradigmatic model of a writing understood as “sensual fold”, the form of an aesthetic act of stepping back, it is possible to open oneself, through some chosen references, to an understanding of literary creation reworked through silence, the hidden, the real withheld by what the writer Michel Lambert calls the light beneath the words. The paradox of literature would be the result of this evocative power of the retention rich with what is not written and of the porosity of all that gives itself through the embryonic membrane that signs the opening out of the fold.
