Summary/Abstract: L’hypothèse selon laquelle la pensée de Cioran procède d’une mauvaise humeur essentielle n’est nullement négligeable pour expliquer la dimension désenchantée, corrosive et négatrice de son discours. Où situer cette mauvaise humeur sinon sur le terrain des humeurs que les Anciens, à commencer par Hippocrate, ont promues au rang de principe explicatif de l’homme? The hypothesis that Cioran’s thinking stems from an existential mauvaise humeur is not neglectable to explain the corrosive and nihilist side of his discourse. Where else can we place this indisposition if not between the dispositions that the Ancient, starting with Hippocrates, have stated as an explaining principle of man ?
