Summary/Abstract: Analyzing the writings of Tertullian, we see that the pre-Socratics cites, amongThese Pythagoras and his school. Sometimes he is doing it to express his admiration forphilosopher of Samos, another time in order to then reject his claims.Only a few times accept from Pythagoras and accept what it considersright and correct. In the writings of Tertullian we find 20 quotes from the Pythagoreanand his school. The main topics include anthropology, eschatologyand cosmology.
