Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this text was a presentation of the views of Aristotle’s ethicsand his concept the highest good and happiness, and also of the ideal of thelife: devoted to contemplation as well as perfect morally. These views werepresented against a background of the philosopher’s considerations in thearea first philosophy, with particular attention paid to the role of Nous-Theos,and concept of man in his biological and social determinants.
