Summary/Abstract: La gestion du patrimoine littéraire est problématique : la bibliothèque ne cesse de gonfler sous le déferlement de nouveautés et il faut composer avec lamasse des oeuvres du passé. Ainsi, la plupart des titres sombrent dans l’oubli : le projet de bibliothèque idéale tente d’organiser l’infinité de la production. Managing literary heritage is problematic : libraries continue to swell with the advent of new material but works of the past still need accommodating. Many titles are inevitably forgotten : the ideal library project seeks to organise the totality of literary production.
