Summary/Abstract: Piano is one of the most important motivators in music education for the early age children. It motivates them to different musical activities in music education. The piano teacher demonstrating his/her practical abilities can be an effective stimulus for their own piano playing. This paper proposes specific exercises enabling children to gain an active knowledge of the keyboard; it also discusses different starting points for further activities in music education.
