Summary/Abstract: The text is a summary of a research conducted in 2007-2008 in a Little Sisters of Jesus community in Slovakia. The author characterizes the institution of Little Sisters of Jesus, along with their ideology, analyses the character of their work among Slovak Roma in Brezno, and interprets data collected during field research, based on prior theoretical assumptions.
