Functional data clustering methods in the analysis of high school graduates’ knowledge

Summary/Abstract: The article presents different approaches to clustering functional data. The main methods include: dimension reduction before clustering, nonparametric methods using specifying distances between curves and model-based clustering methods. Numerical illustrations includes an analysis of the level of knowledge of students in the fourth stage of education.
