Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with continuity of anoikonymy on the material of currently used minor place-names in villages in the borderline regions of South Moravia. The focus is on the term continuity in anoikonymy (toponymy, respectively) itself and especially on specific realizations, i.e. on how present-day names follow the pre-war German ones. The paper also provides an analysis of the individual types of the relationships among pre-war and post-war (present-day) names (borrowing a name, its translation, an independently created name etc.).
