Summary/Abstract: The article presents the results of a specific method of analysing the content of the manuscript. All texts marked as пѣниѥ, поѥм, глас are studied. Some texts are provided with musical notation. This notation, written in neumes in the middle and late Byzantine Sticherarion, has survived as a body of musical texts in todays liturgical practice. It is worth noting that some chants do not change their mode. They are written in the same mode then (in the 13th century) as well as today. Some of the chants do not even change their liturgical function. Chants without Greek correspondence form a separate layer. Their existence is notaccidental; rather it is proof of creative activity and invites further study.
