Summary/Abstract: The article studies the different proposals regarding the sequence of the folia in the Sinaisky služebnik of the 11th с. The old Russian tradition of the liturgies of John Chrysostom and Basil the Great in manuscripts from the 12th–14th с. lends support to the conception of I. I. Sreznevskij, the first researcher and publisher of the Sinaisky služebnik. The argument is based on the prayer accompanying the removal of paraments contained in many old Russian služebniks at the end of the liturgy of John Chrysostom, and on the prayer of prothesis to be found in old Russian copies of the liturgy of Basil the Great. The Sinaisky služebnik contained two liturgies (John Chrysostom and Basil the Great), and it was one of the early witnesses of the new type of euchologium where the basic liturgy was the one ascribed to John Chrysostom.
