Summary/Abstract: The study presents activitiesof the government in health policy towards family in Poland, with particularemphasis on health policy objectives, funding of the healthcare system, medicalpersonnel and access to healthcare services. The author pays special attentionto the problems of financing healthcare, including underfunding of primaryhealthcare, low spending on long-term care, the deficit of doctors and nursesand limited access to medical services for the least affluent families.
