Social and pension insurance problem in Russian Federation

Summary/Abstract: Article is an analysis of current state of pension system in the biggest country of central-eastern Europe – Russian Federation; Russian Federation has very diversified territory in terms of demographic and economic factors. In article there are presented: general scheme of functioning of social & pension insurance systems, historical view on those systems in Russia and very differentiated regions in Russian Federation in terms of demographic and economic factors. It will allow to indicate estimated changes of pension reform which will happen in Russian Federation in the coming years.
