Summary/Abstract: Documenta - Centre for Dealing with the past, non-governmental organization in Croatia, has been recognized as an important part in preserving and digitizing of the court records of intergovernmental Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Croatia (Zagreb office). Cooperation between these two organizations is long and multi-layered in the context of the transfer of information and knowledge. The court documents of OSCE where digitized as part of the monitoring war crimes trials in Croatia, as part of a comprehensive project to strengthen the judicial institutions of the Republic of Croatia. The court documents are digitized within already well-established procedures within Documenta’s information systems and specialized modules for monitoring war crimes trials. In this paper we present a model of cooperation between the two organizations, the transfer of materials and knowledge, and methods of processing materials after the transfer of Documenta.
