Summary/Abstract: Literature and Science: Systemic Reading in the Field of Literature. Ioana Em. Petrescu and the Convergence of systems: A Hypothesis. The paper is an inquiry into Ioana Em.Petrescu’s creative participation in the construction of a new reading model, consistent with the emergence of another pattern of thinking triggered by the development of contemporary science. Her unfinished project had a reforming impact on the institution and the science of literature and can be viewed as a systemic theory deployed by her belief in the convergence of systems.
