Proposals of the Lionel Jospin Commission for the revision of the democratic framework in France

Summary/Abstract: Apparently, 2013 will be an important year for the reform of the democratic framework in France. The most important proposals of the Jospin Commission dealing with the presidential elections, the statute of the head of state, the statute of the members of the Constitutional Council are to be an important landmark for the revision of the French Constitution and the laws of the country. Taking into account the stance of the President François Hollande which confirmed that he’ll follow to some extent these proposals, as well the fact that it has been announced a revision in 2013 of the Romanian Constitution, largely inspired by the French one, the study of these proposals seems to be more than necessary.
