Summary/Abstract: According to a recent court decision, a limited liability company can be liable for counterfeiting and unlwaful competition, as multiple offences, this being the first conviction of a moral person for such crimes. The material damages which can be given for counterfeiting are limited to the gain obtained by perpetrating this offence. It is also stated that a company can be sentenced to the payment of moral damages to another company which suffered a moral loss. The safety measure of the seizure of assets can be also taken towards a moral person.
