Summary/Abstract: The articles focuses on the cultural and political monthly “Bulgaria”, published in Rome during the Second World War from 1939 to 1943. The periodical was edited by the Italo-Bulgarian Association (established in Rome in 1931). Director was Eugenio Morelli and the most important collaborator was the well-known Enrico Damiani, professor of Slavic languages and literatures. “Bulgaria” was financed for two years by the Italian Ministry of Culture. It was attached to Italian fascist regime and its eastern policy in the Balkans.
