Delimitation of small and medium sized towns functional areas in the Lodz region

Summary/Abstract: The main aim of the author is to delimitate functional areas of small and medium-sized towns in the Łódź region. The paper is part of the author’s larger research project which focuses on the problem of delimitation of small and medium-sized towns functional areas in Poland. An important element of the analyses, apart from their cognitive aspect, is a proposal of the own method of delimitation urban functional areas with the use of functional linkages.
