Summary/Abstract: A review of: Jacek Łukasiewicz, Jeden dzień w socrealizmie i inne szkice, [One day in socialist realism, and other essays] (Katowice 2006). It is a book about poets (Białoszewski, Herbert, Grochowiak and others), who were citizens of the Polish People’s Republic. Each of them had experienced „a day in socialist realism” and made use of this experience in a peculiar way. Reviewer draws attention to the peculiarity of the Author’s style, which is on the one hand marked with irony and on the other it reveals sensitivity of Jacek Łukasiewicz who is himself a poet.
