Summary/Abstract: The present article is part of our post-doctoral research entitled “Virtual vocal-symphonism, a model for applying new technologies of producing music”, where we intend to research and promote new informatic technologies applyiable in the music field (in the period of time 2011-2012, at the Musical Institute for Advanced Doctoral Studies – Institutul Muzical de Studii Doctorale Avansate MIDAS from the National Music University in Bucharest). The multitude of professional vocal timbral data included in the EWQL Symphonic Choirs, allows (with the help of specific software and electronic equipment) for the partial or even total substitution of the human factor in the performance of cultured music. While its creators established an inventory of segmental units (vowels and consonants) from English (and Latin), our researched has focussed on finding ways of choral interpretation in Romanian.
