Joanna Orska’s debut-making book has resulted from a conscientious reading and daring afterthought over the issue of how such categories as the ‘Young Poland’, ‘modernism’, ‘avant-garde’ are reinterpreted, revaluated and/or deconstructed in our contemporary time. The reviewer quotes some of the book author’s theses, making his own comments upon them.
