Summary/Abstract: In this paper the authors try to show the main characteristics of the „un-orthodox” economic policy of the Orban government. First they deal with the political philosophy and use of power of the middle-right government, later on summarize the most important political, economic, financial, fiscal, social, institutional and regional measures, which have been taking place in the last 3 years.
