Summary/Abstract: Cancer is one of the most spread diseases of our time. It is the first cause of death. The chart declaring February 4 the World Cancer Day has certain recommendations on the spiritual care and quality of life of cancer pat ients. In this respect and embracing the principles of psychooncology the spiritual care for the patients can provide moral support. It is a collateral, yet specific offer of the spiritual care and moral support the intercession prayer addressed to the saints specifically thought as the ones that care for the cancer patients. This article intends to gather all the saints that can be asked for help, for intercession. In the end, the article also points to the very possible cause of cancer and shows how a Christian can face the disease and accept it in a Christian way.
