The significance of ecologization of enterprises’ activity for the limitation results of economic crisis

Summary/Abstract: The economic and financial crisis touching several economic sectors showed the importance of sustainable development for the economy. The attempt of environmental hazard reduction which is the result of human activity is seen in the European Union legislation and in the harmonization of national laws systems of EU member countries. For Polish enterprises ecologization process started to be a more and more significant proceeding due to sustainable development rules, connected with the improvement of environmental management systems and the implementation of new tools. The activity relating to waste recovery, use of materials of recycling process, energy − reduction and limitation of pollution emissions to several environmental components brings economic benefits and is connected with the cost reduction. It gives enterprises the chance of improvement of their positions on the market increasing the number of purchasers and even widening their business activity on different markets.
