Summary/Abstract: If lyrics can still be considered a privileged language cognitive-activity then it is one which should be able to determine, perhaps even partially shape, some new, different sensibility. In recent Croatian lyrical production it is possible to notice a series of different and even completely disparate poetic trends. After the sudden shock in the beginning of the nineties and the subsequent gradual recontextualization of the entire social and cultural reality in Croatia, it seems as if now is a time in which the ground rests amidst periodic tremors, which now in the domain of poetry can be said to be caused by individual poetic initiatives. It seems that group poetics is something that definitely belongs to the past.
