Reasons for the Electorate Decision-making Processes in Two-party and Multiparty Political Systems

Summary/Abstract: Author in this article try to discuss on voter decision making which has rapidly changed in past few years. Old cognitive-based view about reasoning the voters and information processing approaches are already updated. In particular, the idea that voters can dispassionately evaluate new information about candidates for whom they already have developed evaluations (that is, whom they already like or dislike) has been challenged by evidence of motivated reasoning. Recent article also try to show differences between reasoning the voters in bi-party political systems and multi-party systems.
