This topic will treat precisely the personality of Ibrahim Kolçi, as a collector of folk music, because, as a collector of folklore, little is known. In this case, there will be reviewed: his famous notebook with folk songs and other songs, their number, the kinds of folk songs, the time when they were written, etc. In this notebook there are found unfamiliar or unpublished songs, as well. The division of these songs into chap-ters itself, songs like "Këngë të vjetra gjakovare” (Old songs from Gjakova)" etc., as well as the fact that Ibrahim Kolçi has made a nomadic life, living once in Kruma, then in Skopje, in Kruja, in the Castle of Doda, in the Highlands of Gjakova, in Elbasan, in Is-tanbul, in Gjakova from 1956 until the end of life in 1960, also numerous and frequent contacts with prominent figures of the time as Bajram Curri, Baba Qazim Bakalli, Niman Ferizi, Sali Morina, Ferid Imami, Sali Kolgeci, Baba Faja of Bektaashi Masjid in Elbasan, Ibrahim Fehmi, Iljaz Pristina, Riza Spahiu, Ahmet Gashi and many others, make the content of this notebook to become more interesting and even more attractive.
