Summary/Abstract: The history teacher Mihai Cojocaru, born in the region of Hotin, represented a living witness of the Romanian realities from both banks of the Prut River. In his books (The Human Sacrifice, God’s Kingdom, Problems of Contemporary History, Politics and Truth) and in the great number of courses and lectures held by him, we can take notice of his vast culture, of some immortal Christian values and of the silent fight of the Romanians, against lie. We can also find reflections on the role of hope, faith and Romanian spirituality.
