Summary/Abstract: This study attempts to explain various phenomena that occur through the combination of certain pigmentary colours. The process of colour re-composition by hue degradation is the result of mixing those pairs of equal purity which are separated either by a primary or by a binary colour. The study also focuses on the combination between the diametrically opposed hues, which does not result in perfect chromatic gray.
