The Pseudonym and the Nickname: Accessories Attributes of Identification for Natural Person

Summary/Abstract: Each specific civil juridical relationship is established between its parties, subjects of law. With the view to know who are exactly the subjects of a specific civil juridical relationship it is necessary to identify them. The pseudonym individualizes the natural person in a specific field of activity and is freely chose by the natural person and it is not compulsory to be registered. Its simply use is necessary to create the right o have it. The author of a work can decide to use or not his/her name or pseudonym. The latter, consists of one more words, given to a person by somebody else in order to identify him within his social environment. The nickname has no legal value and does not enjoy and legal protection. As we have mentioned above, this identification attributes of a natural person are personal and non-patrimonial rights and are protected by law.
