60 DE ANI DE „STUDII ȘI ARTICOLE DE ISTORIE”. REPERE PENTRU UN BILANȚ STATISTIC
THE JOURNAL „STUDII ȘI ARTICOLE DE ISTORIE” AT THE AGE OF 60. REFERENCE POINTS FOR A STATISTICAL OVERVIEW

Summary/Abstract: The present article is meant to be an overview, from statistical perspective, of the achievements of the journal “Studii și articole de istorie” over 60 years of almost uninterrupted publication. The authors opted for a quantitative assessment, based on the indicators they considered to be the most appropriate on one hand, but also present enough to allow collection and interpretation of data, on the other hand. The chosen key indicators were the following: number of authors, number of published articles with a breakdown by history periods or by type of history treated in the article, number of pages, number of sections, etc. Based on these indicators, a first review of the journal’s content over 60 years was completed, interesting conclusions were made, and also some possible subjects for future research were sketched.
