Summary/Abstract: This article deals with the idea of human rights in the context of the Global Governance project. It reflects the auctoritas politica mundialis concept developed in the documents of Catholic social doctrine, explores critical and favourable approaches, challenges and perspectives to the Global Governance concept, particularly in connection with the human rights agenda and presents humanrightist ideological trends.
