Summary/Abstract: Professor Leon Koj presented his views on the nature of beliefs in some his papers. This article refers and discusses some main theses of Koj’s conception of belief. Koj treated beliefs as a kind of thinking and stressed a role of spontaneous beliefs a base of knowledge. This kind of belief does not require a justification until a change in belief is on offer.
