Summary/Abstract: New product development as a factor of growing is the paradigm of the new economy. The aim of the paper is showing the paradox the growing is rather achieved by new knowledge than expected by the sales growth. The authors provide theoretical investigation based on existing research; and emphasize that a new product introduction process is the most expensive way of knowledge aquisition; which is the main thesis of this article.
