Summary/Abstract: The paper focuses on the 4th chapter of the work entitled Speculum exilii by Péter Laskai Csókás. Sofar this part was interpreted as travel theory by Gabriella Hubert, although there are some detailswhich could offer another possibility. Speculum exilii, according to the author’s preface, is a handbook to praying. While interpreting travel possibilities, the text forms an opinion on devotional practices, on which I aim to survey.
