Summary/Abstract: The starting point of the herein paper is the claim that the entrepreneurship of employees constitutes the fundamental factor that is decisive in terms of the opportunities for the development of enterprises. Strong pressure from competitors, the increased awareness of clients, access to capital and the information or development of technology all influence the changes to enterprises and markets. The skill of envisaging needs and simultaneously the directions of the development of enterprises and the market itself constitute the entrepreneurial attitudes of the people managing firms. From the viewpoint of the survival and development of enterprises, the action taken by the management in the sphere of increasing the level of entrepreneurship would appear to be extraordinarily significant. The aim of this paper is to indicate the role which the entrepreneurship of employees plays in terms of the development of an enterprise. In the herein paper the analysis of subject-related literature was applied to identify and clarify the formulated problem, as well as the research method of a case study.
