Summary/Abstract: The problems of entrepreneurship development in the border regions of Poland, Belarus and Ukraine have been discussed in the article. It has been shown that cross-border cooperation can contribute to the economic and social development of border areas. Its state and conditions in each of these countries have been presented. It has been stated that the postsocialist reform strategy in Poland is more conducive to the development of entrepreneurship than the strategies chosen by its eastern neighbors. The results of the survey, the aim of which was to compare the perception of entrepreneurship among young citizens of Lublin, Brest and Rivne, have been presented. They showed no significant differences, although influence of national culture, as well as political and economic situation of the country on a desire to start their own business has been detected.
