Summary/Abstract: The aim of this insight in Lucian Blaga’s philosophy of style is establishing a connection between the traditional creation in the Romanian culture and the permanence of the factors that configure stylistically the works (most of them anonymous – so from the beginning they should be integrated in a collective work). We do not discuss each factor, or their relation, but only those that we believe are responsible for this Romanian horizon of creation, and which could be invoked in the view of identifying some generic characters. If we take into account the formative aspiration (or nisus formativus, according to Blaga’s context), for the Romanian traditional terminology there should be analyzed in this sense the phenomenal mode possibly the typifying one. The former seems to be responsible especially for the plastic forms of the old art, but also for the genres of the literary creation, where a certain schematism (geometrical, spiritualizing, in the purest sense of the art that plasticizes an image reducing it to its essential characters) can convince us to search in the works of our creators the immutable influence of the transcendent.
