Summary/Abstract: The same situation - the son visits father at home - is a genre of Hungarian poetical tradition. Thou the genre is the same, the interpretation of this basic human relation shows the influence of historical situation, the flux of time. Alföldy Jenő reflects on the importance of the ways of representation in his comparative study.
